Supporting Regional Communities Through Aquatic Access
Built Environment Collective is pleased to highlight the return of the LIWA Aquatics – KidSport Regional Pool Program for Summer 2026, an initiative delivering meaningful social impact across regional Western Australia.
The program provides up to three months of free pool entry for KidSport-eligible children at participating regional public swimming pools, helping remove cost barriers, encourage physical activity, & support the sustainability of regional aquatic facilities.
Running from 12 Jan to 19 Apr 2026, the program supports families, promotes water safety, & strengthens community wellbeing during the peak summer period.
Regional local governments & aquatic facility operators are invited to attend a short online information session on Thursday 8 Jan 2026 at 11:00am, outlining participation requirements & program benefits.
At Built Environment Collective, we value initiatives that strengthen community infrastructure & social equity. Programs such as this demonstrate how the built environment, when aligned with inclusive policy & strong community partnerships can deliver lasting benefits beyond physical assets.
