For our Sacred Heart Project, the BE Collective team provided civil and structural services comprehensively throughout the demolition, design, and construction phases of a new library and learning support building for Sacred Heart primary school in Booval.
The new building consists of a single-storey timber construction with a slab-on-ground system similar to a residential type construction. It includes a library, learning support centre, IT services, and general learning areas – complete with PWD access entryway.
Our civil contribution included a SBSMP and code compliance for stormwater; bulk earthworks cut and fill; and erosion and sediment control plans. The BE Collective team also provided extensive structural services across foundation and slab design; retaining wall, super structure and roof framing design; structural load bearing elements and bracing design; and continued construction phase support.
