BEC’s Iconic Run – City2Surf
City2Surf is the world’s largest fun run & has been held annually in Sydney for the past 50 years. This year 80,000 participants embarked on the 14-kilometre journey from the heart of the CBD all the way to the beautiful & iconic Bondi Beach. The race is for competitive runners as well as everyday folks looking to join in the fun, often wearing amazing costumes!
The event raises funds for charities such as Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, & the Cancer Council – as well as 500 more – with this years’ event generating $3.73 million.
A huge shoutout to BEC’s Mahfujur Rahman who represented us this year, taking on the 14km with incredible energy and determination. Mahfujur combined his passion for photography & crossed finish line with a big smile. Way to go, Mahfujur🙌✨
