We provide Civil, Structural, Building Services, & ESD/Energy Efficiency consultancy services across the globe. Presently we are working on projects in four different (4) countries across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, multi-res, education, and hospitality.

About this role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, very experienced & competent principal civil engineer. You will report to the General Manager & be responsible for leading & growing our multi-national civil team to deliver projects around the world. As a member of our management team you will benefit from profit-share bonus incentives as well as future ownership/share-holder offers.

Your key responsibilities will include the quality-assured delivery of:

  • Client liaison & meetings
  • Compliance with BEC’s Quality Management System
  • Site-based Stormwater Management Plans
  • Engineering Services reports
  • Erosion & Sediment Control plans
  • Operational Works including:
    • Roadworks
    • Drainage
    • Water & Sewerage infrastructure
  • Site inspections
  • Traffic engineering reporting
  • Flood modelling & reporting

 What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • RPEQ
  • Minimum 15-years’ experience in a South-East Queensland civil consultancy
  • Self-motivation
  • A collaborative approach & interest/ability to deliver in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • An interest in sustainability
  • A keen eye for detail 
  • Ability to navigate/interrogate AutoCAD, 12D, Civil 3D, &/or Civil Site Design
  • Experience with both single-allotment & subdivision projects (MCU & ROL)
  • Experience with projects under the auspice of the following authorities – BCC, LCC, ICC, RCC, Urban Utilities, UnityWater
  • Familiarity with the SEQ-Code, Planning Schemes, & Australian Standards
  • Evidenced ability to manage projects & also staff
