BEC Visits the Nyngan Solar Plant!

#BEC were on site in Central NSW recently, meeting with & supporting Local Councils in the area. We made sure to stop in at the Nyngan Solar Plant!

Opened in 2015 and operated by AGL Energy, it was the largest solar plant in the Southern Hemisphere during the time of construction. Its 1.3 million solar panels that produce approximately 360,000 MWh of renewable energy are capable of powering over 50,000 Australian homes.

This solar plant aims to reduce approximately 203,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year. We at BE Collective are constantly inspired by projects that contribute positively to the environment; we’re even able to provide Solar System design and specification in house, in addition to Carbon Auditing for your home or business, & Energy Efficiency certification.
