Alice Springs Aquatic Centre

The Alice Springs Aquatic Centre was a GNFP (BEC) multi-disciplined project featuring designed building structures, aquatic engineering & civil engineering. The Alice Springs Aquatic Centre is a major indoor & outdoor aquatic & leisure centre that holds multiple unique features within its design.

 It includes an 8 lane 25m lap pool, which is commonly used for competitions. The GNFP (BEC) was also responsible for the unique leisure pool with zero-level beach entry, rapid river, in-pool spa, & two large waterslides. The leisure pool is great for learn to swim classes, & other warm & shallow-water activities. The centre also has a roof light with a steel truss spanning over 36m.
