Sustainable Alternatives to Concrete

Environmentally Sustainable Design is one of our passions at BE Collective; we are constantly scanning the horizon for new ways to be more eco-friendly.

Inhabitat is a weblog that tracks innovations in ESD technology and looks toward the future of an eco-friendly design industry. One of their recent videos highlights a few concrete substitutes available to the environmentally-conscious builder –  straw bales, rammed earth, ferrock and bamboo.
