The E-126

e126Check out this impressive video of the Enercon E126. Retailing at $18.5M Aud, the E-126 is currently the largest and most powerful wind turbine in the world. It stands at 198 meters high and can generate 7.5megawatts of power.

The whole structure, including the foundation, the tower itself and its components weigh a whopping 6,000 tonnes – the rotors alone weigh 364 tonnes!

Sadly, the E-126 won’t quite fit in our Fortitude Valley office, or in our recreational budget.
