BEC Supports Pyjama Foundation

As part of BEC’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, we supported the Pyjama Foundation in August.

The Pyjama Foundation supports these children’s lives by teaching them to develop new skills, build their personal confidence, & encourage positive relationships in their very often fragile & fractured lives.

Each year the Pyjama Foundation has a major fundraising event – National Pyjama Day – encouraging staff to wear their favourite pjs to work & raising funds for & awareness of children in foster care.

BEC held their Pyjama Day on Monday, 19th August 2024. Everyone (who wore pjs) was comfy cozy all day at the office (the others were a little chilly)! Thank you to our very own Pyjama Angel, Colleen Tuxworth, for getting us involved in this initiative. And thank you to everyone who was brave enough to wear their pjs to the, & those who made a donation to the Pyjama Foundation.

We have a BEC Pyjama Day fundraising page. If you would like to donate, please click on the link below. We have raised an amazing $1970 & hope you can help us reach our goal of $2000!

  • $1,500 will provide a foster child their very own special Pyjama Angel, who will support, encourage and ignite a love of learning.
