The Peninsular Aquatic recreation centre located in Frankston VIC is home to a diverse range of aquatic & fitness activities to connect community members of all ages. Their impressive facility houses a large indoor lap pool, waterplay for children, a water top splash course & a waterpark.
GNFP (BEC) was responsible for this large regional indoor aquatic centre. It features a 50m indoor lap pool with a boom. The centre also includes a warm water leisure pool & a spa. The leisure pool is versatile & accommodates numerous activities such as learners’ swim lessons & community classes.
The area also has a signature Raft slide that is 10m high & a splash pad, making it a safe & fun play area for children. The natural lighting that enters through glass panels on the main walls ensures that the space is well illuminated, as well as energy saving. There is a subterranean plantroom in the centre, & ultra-Fine Filtration filters are used for all of the pools.
