rum1BE Collective were appointed as structural consultants for reconfiguration of the Rum Fire Bar in Sydney. The works included vertical circulation, floor trenching and other components typical of a hospitality reconfiguration. Our contribution was effectively an exhibition of ‘engineering by omission’ – with virtually all internal works disguised and refinished.
